This ad on ebay for a '65 Lincoln tests the marketing addage that "sex sells". The question is, "does Hillbilly sex sell?" I'll bet it at least generates a lot more lookers at the auction. We need some analysis and comment from some marketing types.

Looking at her feedback link and selecting from "from buyers" tab, you can also see a number of past auto auctions. (The numbers in the right column lead to closed auction pages.)

As a marketing professional, I'd say it's not the "sex" selling, as much as it is a "loss leader." Frankly, if there's little value to the consumer derived from the product... forget about it. Sex is a persuader, not a seller.
Aside from the technicalities, she wouldn't persuade me, anyway. But, I think they know their audience.
